Several People Sustain Severe Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Wreck on Interstate 485
CHARLOTTE, NC – According to an online news report at wbtv.com, emergency personnel arrived on the scene of a multi-vehicle crash that occurred on Interstate 485. The accident caused traffic to be delayed on the roadway.*
Emergency personnel were dispatched to the accident scene located close to the Johnson Road exit by Ballantyne during this past weekend.
Four individuals were transported to an area hospital where they were treated for serious injuries. Two others are listed as having sustained life-threatening injuries and were also transported to an area hospital following the crash.
There are no further details on the accident at this time. The status of the injured victims has not been released. The accident remains under investigation by law enforcement.
