Tragic Two Vehicle Accident Occurs in Coosa County Leaving Two Dead
COOSA COUNTY, AL – According to an online news report at cbs42.com, a two vehicle accident that occurred over the weekend caused the death of two individuals.*
A tragic accident in Coosa County, Alabama claimed the lives of two people. A man, aged forty five from Sylacauga, Alabama died when the 1997 Harley Davidson he was driving hit into a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The motorcyclist’s seventeen year old passenger also died. Both the motorcyclist and his passenger were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the Mitsubishi, a nineteen year old man from Kellyton, Alabama, is facing two counts of Felony Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
The accident happened on United States Highway 280 at mile marker 62, close to the intersection of Alabama Highway 115.
There are no further details on the accident at this time. The crash remains under investigation by local police.
