Twenty Seven Year Old Tragically Perishes in Crash in Ashland, Tennessee Earlier this Week
ASHLAND CITY, TN – According to an online news report at clarksvillenow.com, a 27 year old man died in a serious accident earlier this week.*
A twenty seven year old man is dead following an accident that occurred on Ed Harris Road in Ashland City, Tennessee. The Ashland City Fire Department noted that emergency personnel arrived at the scene of an accident where a Volkswagen Jetta was on fire with three people trapped inside of the vehicle.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a man from Ashland City, Tennessee died at the scene of the accident.
Two other accident victims were transported to a local hospital where they are listed in serious condition, per the Ashland City Fire Department.
The deceased man was a passenger in the Jetta, which was going westbound on Ed Harris Road when the driver missed a curvature in the road and plunged down an embankment. The car then struck a tree, per the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
There are no further details on the accident at this time. The crash remains under investigation by local police.
