Pedestrian Tragically Dies After Hit by Vehicle on Scenic Hwy in Pensacola, Florida
PENSACOLA, FL. – According to a news report posted online at pnj.com, a pedestrian tragically died after being hit by a vehicle on Scenic Highway in Pensacola, Florida. Little information about the accident has been released at this time by Florida Highway Patrol, which is the investigating agency on the case.*
The accident occurred in the late evening at an unknown location on Scenic Highway. Florida Highway Patrol and the Pensacola News Journal report that a pedestrian was walking northbound on the southbound side of the highway shortly before midnight. A passing motor vehicle that was traveling southbound on Scenic Highway then ran into the pedestrian. No cross street or mile marker near the accident site was provided.
