Car Runs into Two Children in DeKalb County, Georgia
DEKALB COUNTY, GA. – According to an online news report posted by 11alive.com, a car ran into two children in DeKalb County, Georgia. Little information regarding the events of the accident has been reported at this time. It was the second accident involving a car and two children to occur in DeKalb County in one day.*
The accident took place in the evening at an intersection in DeKalb County. DeKalb County Fire officials and 11 Alive report that a vehicle struck two children at the intersection of Columbia Drive and Peachtree Road. It is not clear what caused the accident or where the children were in relation to the roadway at the time of the collision.
No descriptive information about the vehicle was reported, and the children’s ages were not provided in the report. According to 11 Alive, the children were injured but in stable condition following the accident. The report did not say where the two children were taken for treatment.
