Fatal Hit and Run Accident Occurs in Boca Raton, Florida
BOCA RATON, FL – According to an online news report from bocanewsnow, the Boca Raton Police Department is looking to receive information, including that from witnesses, about a tragic hit and run accident that occurred on the morning of Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Glades and Jog Road.*
The address where the accident occurred is at 6401 West Glades Road. Per police, “a light grey or white pickup truck was traveling eastbound along West Glades Road. The truck collided with a pedestrian in the travel lanes and left the scene without stopping. The truck may have front end and/or windshield damage. The pedestrian was transported to Delray Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.”
The deceased individual has been identified as a 44 year-old-man from Boca Raton.
There are no further details on this accident at this time. The hit and run accident remains under investigation by the Boca Raton Police.
