MCDONOUGH, GA – According to online news reports at 13wmaz.com and 11alive.com, a trucker from Ohio is being charged with a fatal accident that resulted in the death of four people from Dublin, Georgia.*

Four people from Dublin, Georgia are dead after a trucker from Ohio hit into them.  According to the Henry County Police Department, the trucker, a thirty nine year old man from Ohio, is facing charges for vehicular homicide, driving too fast for conditions, and making an improper turn.  The deceased individuals are a forty two year old man, a thirty one year old woman, a twenty six year old man, and a twenty year old man.

The accident involved two 18-weelers and another vehicle, which happened in a northerly direction close to Interstate 75 exit 155 at about 12:15 p.m.  The first tractor trailer slowed down as it was approaching building traffic.  A pickup truck behind it, which was a Chevy transporting a load of straw, also slowed down.   Shortly thereafter, a third vehicle, an 18-wheeler, rear-ended the Chevy pickup trick without appears to brake.  This resulted in a deadly “chain reaction accident,” which caused the death of four people.
