Multi-Vehicle Wreck Sends Two to Hospital in Garden City, Georgia

GARDEN CITY, GA. – According to an online news report posted at, a multi-vehicle wreck sent two people to a hospital in Garden City, Georgia. Authorities investigating the accident have provided sparse information about the collision and what caused it to occur. Investigation is ongoing.*

The accident happened on May 15, but the time of the accident is unclear from the WTOC report. Georgia State Patrol and the Garden City Police Department responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle wreck that day at the intersection of Telfair Road and Chatham Parkway. Authorities reported that a total of three vehicles were involved. 

The vehicles were not described in the report, so it is not clear whether the vehicles were cars, SUVs, trucks, or commercial vehicles. Investigators did not immediately say what might have led to the accident or what factors they were investigating as potential causes for the collision. The nature of the crash was not described. 

WTOC reports that two people involved in the crash were transported by emergency vehicles to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries was not known at the time of the report’s publishing, nor were their current conditions. The injured persons were not identified. 

The total number of people in the three vehicles was not reported, and is not clear if the two taken to the hospital were the only people injured in the wreck. 

Georgia State Patrol will be handling the accident investigation. When the WTOC report was posted online, Troopers had not provided further information about the collision or the victims.
