Disabled Vehicles and Highway Accidents
Having a disabled vehicle on any street or highway can be nerve-wracking, especially when it is dark or when there is heavy traffic. While it is ideal for the occupants of a disabled vehicle to exit safely, it is not always feasible. Sometimes waiting in a disabled vehicle is the only option depending on the circumstances. a vehicle’s flashing lights on may not be enough to prevent a dangerous and potentially fatal collision from happening. As such, drivers should always be extremely cautious when pulling to the side of a road or highway as well as when passing disabled vehicles. During any emergency, do not hesitate to call 911.
