Tractor-Trailer Crash Causes One Fatality in Osceola County, Florida

OSCEOLA COUNTY, FL. – According to an online news report published at positivelyosceola.com, a tractor-trailer crash caused one fatality in Osceola County, Florida. Officials have not released detailed information about the accident at this time, and they have not identified the victim.* 

The accident happened in the early morning on May 14 on Orange Blossom Trail in Kissimmee, Osceola County, Florida. Florida Highway Patrol and Positively Osceola report that at about 5:15 a.m. that day, a tractor-trailer and an SUV were somehow involved in a collision near the area of Orange Blossom Trail and Evergreen Street. 

No information about the circumstances of the crash was reported, nor were any factors that might have potentially led to the collision. The make and model of the SUV were not reported, and descriptive information about the tractor-trailer, including the name of any affiliated carriers, was also not reported. 

Positively Osceola states that the driver of the SUV was fatally injured in the wreck and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding officials. This person was not identified in the report. It is unclear if he or she was the only person riding in the SUV at the time of the accident. 

The report from Positively Osceola does not say whether the driver of the tractor-trailer or anyone else in the tractor-trailer was injured. The driver was not identified. 

Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the wreck, and Troopers had not reported additional information to the media at the time of the Positively Osceola news report’s publishing.
