Georgia Faces Thousands of Drunk Driving Accidents Every Year

According to the Georgia Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, there were 1,554 drunk driving-related fatalities in 2016, a number that may be surprising to many drivers.  Drunk driving has been a public health concern for decades, and while progress has been made in many cities and states, drunk driving continues to harm innocent victims every year, and Georgia is, unfortunately, no exception.
