Woman Sustains Serious Injuries in Garden City Bicycle Accident on Highway 21

GARDEN CITY, GEORGIA – According to a news article published by wsav.com, a woman suffered serious injuries in a bicycle accident when a vehicle struck her on Highway 21 (Augusta Road) near Minus Avenue.*

According to local police, on May 1, 2019, a witness reported that a woman was crossing the road on her bicycle during a yellow light when she was struck by a vehicle.  The accident happened on Highway 21 (Augusta Road) near Walgreens and CVS on Minus Avenue.  Police closed two eastbound lanes on Highway 21 as the rush hour period began.
