Vehicle Accident in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Leaves One Tragically Killed, One Injured

OAK RIDGE, TN. – According to a news report published online at oakridger.com, a vehicle accident in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, left one person dead and one other person injured. Authorities were still at the scene at the time the news report was posted, and little information had been released about the accident.*

The crash took place on the afternoon of April 30, but the report from Oak Ridger does not say what time it occurred. The report indicates that two vehicles were involved. The makes and models of the vehicles were not reported, and the vehicle types were not described. It is not clear how the accident happened. 

The news report says the wreck took place at the intersection of Oak Ridge Turnpike and Newport Drive. Crews at the scene closed the area to all westbound traffic and some eastbound traffic. The Oak Ridge Police Department is still investigating.
