ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, NC. – According to a news story posted online at myfox8.com, one person was killed, and another person was injured in a vehicle crash that occurred in Rockingham County, North Carolina. Investigators believe the accident happened because one of the vehicles crossed over the centerline of the road.*
The accident occurred in the morning on April 29 on Old North Carolina Highway 87 in Rockingham County. North Carolina State Highway Patrol and Fox 8 report that at approximately 9 a.m. that day, a pickup truck was traveling on Old N.C. 87 and crossed over the centerline of the highway near Eden.
After leaving its lane of travel, the pickup truck reportedly crashed into and drove on top of a Nissan Sentra that had been headed in the opposite direction on the highway.
