ORANGE COUNTY, FL. – According to news reports posted online at and, a student was injured in a hit-and-run school bus crash in Orange County, Florida. Authorities have reported that the other driver involved in the accident hit the bus and then left the scene.*

The accident took place on the afternoon of April 16 at an intersection in Orange County. Both news reports say that the bus was carrying 51 students at the time, and the report from NBC says it was coming from Olympia Highway School in Orlando, Florida. In the area of South Apopka Vineland Road and Steer Lake Road, the bus and another vehicle collided.
