Vehicle Collision Leaves Woman Dead in Crenshaw County, Alabama

CRENSHAW COUNTY, AL. – According to a news story reported online at, a vehicle collision that occurred in Crenshaw County, Alabama, left one woman dead. The collision involved two vehicles, but Alabama State Troopers, who are investigating the crash, have not released details regarding the nature of the accident.*

The accident took place during the early morning hours of April 14 on U.S. Highway 331 in Crenshaw County. Alabama State Troopers and the Alabama News Network report that at about 3:20 a.m. that day, a car was traveling on U.S. 331 and was somehow involved in a crash with a pickup truck. 

The makes and models of the car and the truck were not included in the report. The report also did not provide any information about the circumstances causing the accident or the way in which the accident took place. It is unclear where on the highway the crash occurred, as no exit or intersection was named.

The Alabama News Network reports that the driver of the car was fatally injured in the wreck. It is unclear if she was pronounced dead at the scene or at a medical facility. Alabama State Troopers identified her as a 23-year-old woman from Dozier, Alabama. The news report did not say whether any passengers were in her car.

The report from the Alabama News Network did not say whether the driver of the pickup truck or anyone else in the pickup was injured. No identifying information about this driver was included in the report. Alabama State Troopers are continuing to investigate the crash, and at the time of the news report’s publishing, they had not released further information.
