MORGAN COUNTY, GA. – According to a news story posted online at, officials are reporting that a tire issue led to a fatal vehicle crash in Morgan County, Georgia. One man was killed in the accident, when his truck ran off the road and crashed into a tree.*

The accident happened in the afternoon on April 20 on Interstate 20 in Morgan County. At about 2 p.m. that day, a pickup truck was traveling east on I-20 while hauling a gooseneck trailer loaded with two pickups. Near the area of mile marker 112, Georgia State Patrol reports that the dually experienced a tire issue.
