Georgia Road Rage Accident Leads to Four Arrests and Multiple Injuries
HENRY COUNTY, GA – As reported online by www.fox5atlanta.com, four people are in custody, and three injured people are in the hospital following a shootout and road rage accident.*
According to local authorities, there were reports of gunfire in a Henry County neighborhood that ultimately transpired into a dangerous road rage accident. The Henry County Police responded to the reports of gunfire just after 4:00 p.m. on the afternoon of April 9, 2019, near one portion of Club Circle. All individuals involved in the violent altercation drove off and crashed their cars into each other down the street.
Witnesses to the shooting and road rage accident stated that multiple individuals fled the scene by hopping fences and attempting to hide in nearby homes after the accident. All individuals involved in the altercation are males in their late teens and early twenties. Police officers surrounded one home near the scene of the accident that they were able to link to those involved in the accident. It is unclear whether the home the police surrounded was owned by one of the alleged perpetrators, or if the home belonged to a person who was not involved in the shooting or car accident.
The injured individuals who were hospitalized have not been identified. As such, it is unclear whether the injured individuals that have been hospitalized are innocent victims or whether they were part of the overall series of crimes that led to the arrest of three men. The investigation into this accident is ongoing, but neighbors who witnessed the shooting and accident are undoubtedly on edge and feeling a little less safe in their own homes.
