Two Killed, One Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Hardin County, Tennessee

HARDIN COUNTY, TN. – According to an online news story reported by wbbjtv.com, two people were killed, and one person was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Hardin County, Tennessee. Limited information about the accident has been released at this time, and authorities have not determined the cause of the crash. No one involved has been identified.*

According to WBBJ and the Hardin County Fire Chief and Emergency Management Director Melvin Martin, three vehicles somehow collided on Tennessee Highway 128 in the Nixon community of Hardin County. 

The collision happened near Ridge Road, according to Martin, but authorities did not immediately say what circumstances caused the collision. No factors potentially involved in the crash were identified, and none of the three vehicles involved was described in the WBBJ report. 

WBBJ reports that two people sustained fatal injuries in the wreck, and one person sustained critical injuries. It is unclear if the two victims who died were pronounced dead at the scene or at a hospital. No hospital information was reported on the injured victim. 

The report from WBBJ did not release any names or any identifying information about the victims. It was not clear from the report if these three people were the only people involved in the accident. 

Hardin County officials are continuing to investigate the wreck, and they had not released further information regarding the accident at the time the WBBJ report was published online.
