Person Dead after Accident Involving an 18-Wheeler in Rural Hall, North Carolina
RURAL HALL, N.C. — According to an online news report at wxii12.com, an individual is dead after being involved in an accident with a semi-truck in Rural Hall, North Carolina.
An eighteen year old female is dead after being involved in an accident with a tractor trailer. The accident occurred in Rural Hall, North Carolina. According to the accident investigation team, the accident happened on Broad Street at approximately 4:00 p.m.
Pursuant to a preliminary investigation of the accident, the eighteen year old from Danbury, North Carolina pulled out in front of the 18-wheeler, causing the teen to be struck by the truck.
The teenager was transported to a local hospital where she was originally listed in critical condition. She tragically died at the hospital a short time later. Her passenger, a twenty six year old, was also seriously injured and is currently in critical condition.
There is no information at this time as to whether charges will be filed in this case. The accident remains under investigation. There currently are no further details on the crash.
