Sheriff Officer Hurt in Crash on Wilson Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida
JACKSONVILLE, FL - According to an online report at wokv.com, an officer is injured in an accident on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 3, 2019.*
Per the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the injured officer was going west on Wilson Boulevard on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 3, 2019. A vehicle was turning out of a shopping center where the driver hit the officer’s patrol car. The injuries are reported as non-life threatening. The driver who hit the officer was reportedly not injured. The officer was patrolling the area at the time of the accident and was not responding to an emergency call.
The accident remains under investigation at this time. There are no further details on the accident.
