Teenager from Baldwin County Dies in Car Accident Leaving 4 Others Injured

Baldwin County, AL – according to, investigators from Alabama are currently conducting an investigation of a weekend accident that occurred in south Baldwin County that left one teenager dead and four others injured (all four required hospitalization).*

According to Alabama State Troopers, they are conducting an investigation of the fatal accident that occurred over the weekend in south Baldwin County, which left one teenager dead and four others seriously injured.  

Right before 11 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019, police responded to a one car crash located on Hartung Road close to the intersection of Roy Waters Road, located west of the town of Foley.

Per officials investigating the accident, a seventeen year old male was going south in a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer when his vehicle for unknown reasons exited the road, hit a ditch and then turned over, landing on the vehicle’s roof.  A seventeen year old passenger was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene of the crash.  The driver and his passengers were taken to area hospitals due to their injuries.  

No charges are expected to be filed in this case.  The crash remains under investigation by Alabama State troopers.  There are no further details on the accident at this time.
