Man From Meridianville Succumbs to Injuries in Crash that Occurred in Huntsville

Huntsville, GA – according to, a forty one year old man from Meridianville, Georgia died in a crash on Bob Wade Lane on Friday night.*

The victim was found dead at the accident site, according to a Huntsville police spokesperson.  According to the spokesperson, north precinct police arrived on the two vehicle accident at 10”44 p.m. on Friday with one of the victims entrapped in his or her vehicle.  Per the investigation of the scene, it appears that the driver of the vehicle in which the decedent was located (as a passenger) somehow lost control of the car while going westbound.  A second car involved in the crash was going easterly and was unable to avoid the crash as the other car entered his lane.  The car carrying the decedent struck a utility pole made of concrete on the northerly side of the road.  

It is believed that alcohol played a part in causing the accident.  Both drivers had blood samples taken.  The accident remains under investigation at this time. No further details are available on the accident.
