Vehicle Crashes into Home in Coral Gables, Florida
CORAL GABLES, FL. – According to an online news report published at local10.com, a vehicle crashed into a home in Coral Gables, Florida. Two people were injured in the accident, which caused one the passengers in the vehicle to be ejected. Authorities have not yet determined why the crash took place.*
The Coral Gables Police Department and Local 10 report that a vehicle somehow crashed into a home in the Island of Cocoplum community of Coral Gables on March 7. The community was described in the Local 10 report as exclusive. The vehicle, which was not described in the report, crashed into a home on the corner of Isla Dorada Boulevard in the 300 block of the street.
Police officers did not say why the crash occurred. The report from Local 10 did not provide any information about what might have caused the accident. The report stated that investigators at the scene performed a field sobriety test, but the report did not say what the result of that test was or whether the driver of the vehicle was cited.
Coral Gables Fire rescue responded to the site of the crash, and crews found that two people were injured. One of the injured persons had been ejected from the vehicle, according to police officers and Local 10. The report did not say whether an ambulance took this person to a hospital for treatment.
