One Airlifted from Scene of Vehicle Accident in Lillian, Alabama

LILLIAN, AL. – According to an online news report from, one person was airlifted from the scene of a vehicle accident in Lillian, Alabama. This person has not been identified, and few details about the accident have been released by authorities at this time. The cause of the collision is reportedly still being investigated.* 

The accident took place on the morning of March 8, though the news story from Fox 10 does not say what time it occurred that morning. Two vehicles were somehow involved in an accident in the area of Highway 98 and Highway 93 in Lillian. Authorities did not release information about how the accident occurred.

The vehicles were not described in the report so it is not clear what types of vehicles were involved in the wreck. No information was reported about the nature of the crash or the potential events leading to the accident. 

Alabama State Troopers confirmed that one person was transported to an area hospital from the scene via medical helicopter. This person was not identified, and the extent of his or her injuries was not included in the news report from Fox 10. The person’s current medical condition was also not reported. 

No additional persons were identified from the wreck, and it is unclear if anyone else was injured. Alabama State Troopers had not determined the cause of the collision by the time of the Fox 10 report’s publishing. The wreck is still under investigation at this time, and additional information should be available at a later date.
