Three-Vehicle Accident Reported in Macon, Georgia
MACON, GA. – According to a news story posted online at wgxa.tv, a three-vehicle accident was reported in Macon, Georgia. The collision occurred on Forest Hill Road and caused traffic to become blocked in the area. Officials had released little information about the crash at the time the WGXA story was posted, and it was not clear if anyone was injured.*
The accident occurred in the afternoon on March 7 on Forest Hill Road in Macon. Three vehicles somehow crashed into each other at the intersection of Forest Hill and Northside Drive at approximately 1 p.m. that day. No information was provided in the WGXA report about the circumstances leading to the collision.
The makes and models of the vehicles were not reported. However, a video taken at the scene and posted to WGXA’s website showed a black car, a silver SUV, and a gold minivan crashed in the roadway. All of the vehicles had visible damage. The minivan and the car were facing the same direction, and the SUV was facing the opposite direction, wedged in between the two other vehicles.
No one involved in the accident was identified, and WGXA did not say whether anyone was injured. A firetruck could be seen in the video from the site, along with multiple sheriffs’ vehicles. The news report did not say if anyone was cited or likely to be cited in connection with the wreck.
After the collision, traffic became blocked in the area. The crossing of Forest Hill and Northside was blocked in both directions on one of the roadways, and traffic was slowly moving by the emergency vehicles at the scene on the other roadway.
