Car, Tractor-Trailer Collide in Fatal Accident on South Carolina Bridge
ANDERSON COUNTY, SC. – According to a news story reported online by counton2.com, a car and a tractor-trailer collided in a fatal accident on a bridge in Anderson County, South Carolina. The tractor-trailer was hauling live chickens when the accident occurred, and it ended up tipping onto its side on the edge of the bridge.*
The collision took place on the afternoon of February 18 on the Lake Hartwell bridge in Anderson County. A tractor-trailer that was reportedly hauling live chickens somehow collided with a car on the bridge. No description of the car was reported. The tractor-trailer was reportedly transporting the chickens to Greenville County, South Carolina, for processing. It is unclear what direction the two vehicles were traveling on the bridge before the accident.
