The crash happened at approximately 2:30 a.m. on February 16 on the corner of Goodyear Avenue and I Street in Brunswick. A man and woman were sitting in the living room of their home in the 1900 block of Goodyear Avenue, when a 2007 Honda Accord came crashing into the room.
The vehicle ended up colliding with the couch where the woman was sitting, according to the report from The Brunswick News, and the woman sustained head injuries. An ambulance reportedly took the woman, age 72, to Southeast Georgia Medical Center, and from there, she was flown to UF Health Jacksonville.
