The accident took place in the early morning on February 15 on Lenox Avenue in Murray Hill, Jacksonville. At the corner of Lenox Hill and South Edgewood Avenue, a pedestrian was attempting to walk across the roadway, and a passing motorist hit him. Authorities did not say if the pedestrian was in a crosswalk or if one was available.
No information about the vehicle, like make and model, was reported. The driver reportedly stayed at the scene after the crash and talked to deputies with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
