Two-Vehicle Accident in Opelika, AL, Leaves at Least One Injured
OPELIKA, AL. – A two-vehicle accident in Opelika, Alabama, left at least one person injured, according to a news story posted online at wtvm.com. Authorities have not yet provided full information about the wreck, and no one involved in the accident has been identified at this time.*
The accident happened on the morning of February 17, but it is not clear from reports what time it occurred. Two vehicles reportedly collided on Lee Road 158, a few miles outside of Opelika. It is not clear exactly where on the roadway this accident took place, and a cross street was not listed in reports.

The sedan is stopped in a tree-line area off the road with its driver’s side crushed in and its windshield broken. A white pickup truck is also pictured at the scene. The truck has significant damage to the roof, and it appears the vehicle might have rolled. It is pictured upright in the grassy shoulder of the road with the front driver’s side tire missing.
Officials at the scene reported that at least one person was injured. Officials did not say how seriously this person was injured or whether he or she required medical transport to a hospital. No other information about injuries was provided.
