Two Killed in Separate Accidents in Mobile County, Alabama

MOBILE COUNTY, AL. – Two people were killed in separate accidents in Mobile County, Alabama, according to an online news story published by fox10tv.com. One of the accidents involved a motorcyclist and an SUV, while the other involved a vehicle and a pedestrian. Authorities have not identified either victim.* 

Both accidents happened on the evening of Sunday, February 17. The first accident occurred at approximately 6 p.m. on Bellingrath Road in Mobile County. A motorcycle and an SUV somehow crashed into each other on Bellingrath Road in Theodore, Alabama, near the area of Highway 90. The cause of this collision is not yet known, and authorities have not released information about the nature of the crash.

Reports indicated that the motorcyclist was killed in the collision. This person’s name has not been released. The driver of the SUV has also not been identified, and police did not provide the make and model of the SUV. It is not clear whether charges will be filed. 

The second crash happened approximately an hour later, around 7 p.m. on February 17. A vehicle traveling in the area of Lott Road and Valhalla Drive ran into a pedestrian. It is not clear what events led to this collision. No description of the vehicle was reported. 

Authorities said the pedestrian involved in this collision did not survive. No identifying information about the pedestrian or the driver of the vehicle has been released. It is also unclear whether charges will be filed in connection with this accident. 

Alabama State Troopers are investigating both accidents, and they will release additional information when next-of-kin have been notified, and further investigation has been conducted.
