Charges Pending Against Driver Who Crashed into MARTA Bus in Atlanta, Georgia
ATLANTA, GA. – As reported online in a news story published to wsbtv.com, charges are pending against a driver who crashed his car into a MARTA bus in Atlanta, Georgia. The driver has not been identified at this time. Five people were injured in the accident, including four passengers on the bus.*
The crash occurred in the evening on Joseph E. Boone Boulevard in Atlanta. At about 6:20 p.m., a vehicle traveling on Joseph E. Boone Boulevard attempted to pass slowed traffic by driving in the opposite lane of travel. The vehicle went into oncoming traffic and crashed into a MARTA bus that was traveling in the direction opposite of the car.
