Vehicle Rolls onto Roof After Collision in Horry County, South Carolina
HORRY COUNTY, SC. – According to an online news report posted at wmbfnews.com, a vehicle rolled onto its roof after a collision in Horry County, South Carolina. Authorities have not provided the full details of the accident at this time. At least one person was injured in the crash.*
The accident happened in the evening on Monday, February 4. At about 5:20 p.m., vehicle traveling on South Carolina Highway 544 in Horry County somehow crashed near Singleton Ridge Road. It is not clear what direction the vehicle had been traveling on S.C. 544, and reports did not say whether any other vehicles were involved in the collision.
During the crash, the vehicle rolled over and came to a rest upside down. A photo from the scene show a white SUV lying on its roof on the side of the roadway. The white SUV has damage on one side. A black SUV is also depicted in the photo, but it is not clear if this vehicle was passing the scene when the photo was taken or if the vehicle was involved in the crash. The black SUV does not have any apparent damage.
South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to the scene. At this time, Troopers have not released any information about the cause of the crash or the circumstances leading to the crash. They have not listed any potential causes that they might be investigating.
Officials reported that the accident resulted in injuries, but they did not say how many people were injured. The extent of the victim’s or victims’ injuries was not reported, nor were current medical conditions.
