Three-Vehicle Wreck Injures Two in Miller County, Georgia
MILLER COUNTY, GA. – As reported online in a news story from sowegalive.com, a three-wreck in Miller County, Georgia, on January 24 left two people injured. The victims’ identities have not been released, and few details about the wreck have been reported at this time.*
On the morning of January 24, three vehicles were somehow involved in a wreck in Miller County where Georgia Highway 91 intersects with Willis Cook Road. No information was reported about the vehicles or the cause of the accident. No details were provided about the nature of the collision.
From photos taken at the scene of the wreck, it appears that a semi-truck was one of the three vehicles involved. The front end of the semi-truck has significant damage, and a large amount of debris can be seen in the roadway. There is also what appears to be a second vehicle, possibly a truck with a flatbed trailer, overturned in the area off of the roadway.
Two people sustained injuries in the accident, and an ambulance crew transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment. The victims’ names, ages, and cities of residence were not released. Authorities indicated they were the drivers of two of the vehicles.
After the wreck occurred, drivers were encouraged to avoid the area if possible. Traffic was shut down in both directions around the area to allow crews to investigate and clear the scene. Officials are still in the process of investigating this accident, and they have not yet released any additional information to the media.
