PASCO COUNTY, FL. – A drunk driver crashed into a concrete barrier January 25 after driving the wrong way on Interstate 75 in Pasco County, Florida, according to an online news story posted at At the time of his arrest, the driver had a blood alcohol level quadruple the legal limit.*

At approximately midnight on January 25, 27-year-old Chaise Michael Dunn (city of residence not reported) was driving a 2015 Volkswagen Passat north in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Pasco County. He nearly collided head-on with a southbound 2008 Mercedes Milan, but the 19-year-old driver of the Mercedes swerved into the median. The Mercedes then collided with a guardrail.

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office and Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene and apprehended Dunn. Troopers placed him under arrest and performed a test for intoxication.
