19-Year-Old Driver Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash in Baldwin County, Alabama

January 27, 2019

BALDWIN COUNTY, AL. – According to an online news report published to wkrg.com, a 19-year-old driver was killed January 19 in a single-vehicle crash in Baldwin County, Alabama. Few details about the crash have been reported by authorities at this time, but the victim’s name has been released.*

The accident occurred during the early morning hours of January 19 on Moog Avenue in Baldwin County. At about 1:30 a.m., a 2014 Ford F-150 was traveling north on Moog Avenue. At some point in the road, the driver of the F-150 lost control and left the roadway. The F-150 then crashed into a tree.

It is not clear where exactly on the road the accident occurred, and authorities have not provided any information about what caused the driver to lose control. They did not say whether speed, distraction, or any other factors might have played a role in the accident. Authorities found no other vehicles or evidence of a vehicle crash at the scene, and they believe the F-150 was the only vehicle involved in the accident.

The driver of the F-150 sustained critical injuries and did not survive. He died at the scene, according to Alabama State Troopers. Officials have identified him as 19-year-old Adrian Baugh Johnson. Johnson was known by friends and relatives as “Goose.” Troopers said he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

It does not appear any passengers were inside the F-150, as no other injuries were reported. Alabama State Troopers are still investigating this accident, and they have not reported additional information at this time.
