School Bus Involved in Crash in Berkeley County, South Carolina
BERKELEY COUNTY, SC. – As reported online in a news story published to abcnews4.com, a school bus was involved in a vehicle crash on January 18 in Berkeley County, South Carolina. It is not clear at this time if anyone was injured in the accident, and no one involved has been identified.*
The accident occurred in the early morning on January 16 in Berkeley County. At approximately 6:20 a.m., a school bus and a sedan somehow collided in the area of United Driver and Laura Lane, near Huger, South Carolina. It is not clear what caused the crash, but police reported that the school bus was stopped, and the sedan hit the bus from behind. Police did not say whether the bus was stopped at a traffic signal or for some other reason.
The driver of the sedan was not identified. Police said he or she told officers at the scene that he or she thought the bus was moving at the time of the crash. The make and model of the sedan was not included in reports regarding the accident. Police cited the sedan driver for driving too fast for conditions.
