ELLSWORTH COUNTY, KS. – A Georgia truck driver was injured in a head-on collision with another tractor-trailer on January 11 in Ellsworth County, Kansas, according to an online news story from hayspost.com. The driver of the other tractor-trailer died in the collision.*

The crash occurred on January 11 on Kansas Highway 156 in Ellsworth County. At approximately 5 p.m., a 2004 Freightliner tractor-trailer was traveling westbound on Kansas 156 and came to a curve near the Kansas Highway 140 junction.

In attempting to travel around the curve, the driver of the Freightliner lost control and nearly jackknifed.
