One in Critical Condition After Vehicle Wreck in Nashville, Tennessee

NASHVILLE, TN. – One person is in critical condition after a January 15 vehicle wreck in Nashville, Tennessee, according to an online news story from fox17.com. Few details about the accident have been released at this time, and the victim has not been identified.*

The accident occurred in the early morning hours of January 15 on Music Valley Drive in Nashville. A vehicle wreck occurred in the 2600 block of Music Valley Drive around 2:30 a.m. that day. It is not clear how many vehicles were involved or how the crash happened. No information about the vehicles was released, and authorities did not describe the circumstances of the crash.

At least one person was ejected from a vehicle and critically injured. Emergency responders transported this person to TriStar Skyline Medical Center for treatment. It appears the transport was via ambulance. The person has not been identified. He or she reportedly sustained life-threatening injuries in the wreck. It is not clear if he or she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Reports did not indicate whether the injured person was the only occupant of the vehicle. It is also not clear if this person was the only one injured in the crash. 

The roadway was blocked from Music Valley Drive to Pennington Bend Road after the accident to allow crews to investigate and clear the wreckage. Photos from the scene show one white vehicle with substantial back-end damage. 

Investigators said speeding might have been a factor in the crash, but this has not been confirmed. No further information has been reported at this time.
