Florida Woman Killed After Falling Off Motorcycle on First Date

December 23, 2018

BROWARD COUNTY, FL. – According to an online news report from wsbtv.com, a Florida woman was killed after falling off a motorcycle on Interstate 95 in Broward County, Florida. The woman was on a first date and was struck by multiple vehicles after she fell from the bike. Her date reportedly left her lying in the interstate.*

On the evening of December 6, 33-year-old Jennifer Amy St. Clair was on a first date with an unidentified man and rode on the man’s motorcycle to meet another couple at a bar in Delray Beach, Florida. Around 10 p.m., the man and St. Clair were riding back to St. Clair’s house in Fort Lauderdale on I-95 South.

In Pompano Beach, St. Clair fell off the back of the motorcycle and landed in a southbound lane of the interstate. She was subsequently struck by at least three different vehicles and died at the scene. It is not clear whether her death was caused by the initial fall or by one of the vehicles. One of the drivers who hit St. Clair stayed at the scene and called 911. He made contact with the man who had been St. Clair’s date and said that man and all of the other people who hit St. Clair left the scene.

“I came to a stop as fast as I could,” said the driver, who has not been identified. “As I was waiting [for police], other traffic came along and ran her over again and again, and no one stopped. I can’t believe people can run over a body in the road and not stop.”

Authorities are asking for anyone with information about the motorcyclist or the other drivers involved to contact police as soon as possible. No additional information has been reported at this time.
