Man Injured After Falling Out of Party Bus in Gainesville, Georgia

November 23, 2018

GAINESVILLE, GA. – A man was injured November 17, 2018 after reportedly falling out of a party bus in Gainesville, Georgia, according to an online news story from Georgia State Patrol says no charges will be filed in connection with the accident.*

At approximately 4:30 p.m. on November 17, 32-year-old Marsharn Austin, of Atlanta, Georgia, was riding in a party bus in Gainesville. The bus was registered to an unnamed limousine company and was traveling southbound on Sardis Road. At a roundabout, Austin fell out of the bus door and onto the roadway.

“It is unknown as to how the door of the bus opened, but Mr. Austin was leaning or had fallen against the door when it opened,” said Georgia State Patrol Sgt. Auston Allen. The bus pulled over after the accident, and authorities were contacted. Austin was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with injuries and was said to be in “satisfactory condition” the following day.

The group traveling on the bus declined to speak to reporters about the incident. Troopers said no charges would be filed. No additional information has been released at this time.
