The fatal accident occurred on Sunday, July 30, 2018, in the evening. No one has come forward at this time to identify the driver or the passenger who fled the scene.*

According to WSB-TV 2, the Georgia State Patrol, who is assisting the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation, Monday, tweeted out photographs of two young adults, one male, and one female, who may have also been in the same convenience store that the victim was in moments before the crash.
