Woodstock Man is Dead Following Single Vehicle Accident on I-75
BARTOW COUNTY, GA — June 16 ,2018 (patch.com). According to an online news report at patch.com, a fifty six year old man is dead after a single vehicle accident that occurred on Friday, June 15, 2018.*
The accident occurred on the northbound lane in Interstate 75 close to mile marker 295. Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene to find a car “in the wood line of the interstate.”
“According to the state patrol, the Lincoln Town car was found ‘disabled’ in the tree line with one person inside. An initial investigation indicates the vehicle was traveling northbound in the right lane and ‘left the east side of the roadway, traveling into the trees.’"
The driver of the town car, Abel Chavez from Woodstock, Georgia, tragically died at the scene as a result of the accident. The cause of the accident is not yet known, however, Chavez had “several medical issues” that could have been responsible for the crash.
