18 Year Old Dies in Tragic Accident; Several People Rendered Aid and Stayed with Her in her Final Moments

PEACHTREE CITY, GA– June 20, 2018 (wsbtv.com).  According to an online news report from wsbtv.com, a Peachtree woman is now planning a funeral for her daughter, Jasmine Williams, rather than helping her move in to her college dormitory.*

The eighteen year old from Peachtree City, Georgia was sadly killed in an accident just a few days prior to moving to college. Local police note that “on Monday night around 7:30 p.m., Williams' car went off the road on Highway 34 in Coweta County. They believe the car went airborne and flipped at least seven times before hitting a concrete post and a fire hydrant. Williams' was ejected and died at the scene.”

Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the crash.

According to Jasmine’s mother, Karen Williams, she was helping her daughter get ready to move to college at Clayton State University. "I was saying I'm not ready for you to go yet. I'm not ready," Karen Williams stated to a local news reporter. "And she just grabbed me and said 'I'm going to be ok and you're going to be okay.'”

Several people came forward to render aid to Jasmine in her final moments. In fact, one man contacted Williams and indicated to her that he and a nurse were on the scene giving Jasmine CPR.  There were ten additional individuals who were praying for Jasmine and holding her hand until emergency personnel arrived on the scene.

"There were angels there with her making sure she was not by herself," Williams said. "If nothing else that was a gift to me and my family to know that."

Jasmine, who just graduated from McIntosh High School, will be laid to rest on Monday, June 25, 2018.
