Funeral Being Held on Saturday for Motorcyclist that Died in Bartow Crash

ADAIRSVILLE, GA — June 13, 2018 (  According to an online news report at, the funeral of a motorcyclist who was killed on Friday, June 8, 2018 in a two vehicle accident in Adairsville, Georgia is being held this Saturday, June 16, 2018.*

The service is for Justin Holder, aged twenty seven, which will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at  the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.  Interment will be following the services at Salacoa Baptist Church Cemetery in Waleska, Georgia.  

Emergency crews responded to an accident reported at about 6:20 a.m. on Friday, June 8, 2018 where a motorcycle and passenger car collided on Georgia Highway 140 at Joe Frank Harris Parkway/United States Highway 41/Georgia Highway 3.  Per the Georgia State Patrol, the passenger car was going south on U.S. 41/Ga 3 and was attempting to turn left onto Georgia Highway 140 while Holder, on his motorcycle, was going north on Georgia Highway 3.  The owner of the passenger car, Sandra Morris, “failed to yield” to the motorcyclist and crashed into the motorcycle at the intersection. Morris’ vehicle rested in the gore on the eastern side of Ga. 140 while the motorcycle rested on its side at the intersection.  Holder succumbed to his injuries following the crash, which is currently still under investigation at this time.  

According to his obituary, “Holder was born on June 16, 1990, to Joey and Wendy Holder in Calhoun. He was employed with LG Hausys in the shipping and receiving department. He was a graduate of Adairsville High School where he was involved in the band and drumline. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing his guitar and was an accomplished drummer,” his obituary notes.
