Two Contractors Injured Near Cartersville, Georgia
June 6, 2018 (ajc.com). According to an online news report at ajc.com, two workers at Plant Bowen are injured, per Georgia Power.*
On Wednesday, June 6, 2018, two workers at Plant Bowen located near Cartersville, Georgia have been injured. They were transported to area hospitals, according to Georgia Power spokesman, Jacob Hawkins. Plaint Bowes is a plant powered by coal.
Further details on the incident have not been provided to the public. Hawkins has indicated that the contractors’ employer is Fluor Maintenance Services, a construction and engineering corporation out of Irving, Texas.
“At Georgia Power, safety is our top priority for anyone working at one of our facilities,” Hawkins said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the injured workers and their families at this time.”
