Man Identified in Tragic Accident in Burke County, Georgia
BURKE COUNTY, GA – May 23, 2018 (www.wrdw.com). According to an online news report from augustachronicle.com, a man involved in a Burke County crash has been identified.*
Coty Ryan Smith, aged twenty five, from Hephzibah, Georgia, tragically died at the scene of an accident on Highway 25 close to Taylor Brothers Express, per the Burke County Sheriff’s Office.
Smith was not the driver of the car involved in the crash, as he was a passenger of a Mercury sedan, the driver of whom was Jordan Chase Youngblood, aged twenty, also from Hephzibah, per a news release on the accident. Youngblood was taken to an area hospital by emergency personnel and is listed as in serious condition, per the release.
The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash was James Willie Houghbrook, aged sixty four, from Sardis, Georgia, was also taken to a local hospital by emergency personnel and is listed as in critical condition.
