Sixty Six Year Old Man Dies in Dead Accident on Interstate 285 in Atlanta, Georgia
ATLANTA, GA – May 23, 2018 (11alive.com). According to an online news report, a sixty six year old man died in an accident on I-285 that occurred in the evening of Wednesday, May 23, 2018.*
Per the Georgia State Patrol, officers were dispatched to the scene of the crash which occurred in I-285 close to Donald Lee Hollowell Drive at around 4:45 p.m.
The Georgia State Patrol has indicated that the driver who was at fault for causing the crash apparently lost control of the vehicle causing the driver to slam into a concrete barrier before finally stopping in the middle of ongoing traffic. It is not clear regarding the other four automobiles that were involved in the crash. Emergency personnel transported the sixty six year old man to an area hospital. He later died to the extent of his injuries.
At this time, there are no further details on the crash.
