Fatal Atlanta I-20 Van Roll-Over Accident

Steve Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Channel 2 Action News reported today that there was a tragic traffic accident that occurred along Interstate 20 this morning.
The driver of a van was killed after being ejected from the van as it rolled over as a result of the crash. This horrific accident closed both the east and west bound lanes along I-20 for several hours.
Reports from both The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Channel 2 Action News state that the driver of a van was traveling along I-20 east in Atlanta. The driver of the van lost control of the vehicle after striking the rear of a vehicle that was stopped. At the time of the crash, passengers were providing aid and assistance to accident victims of a separate accident.
The identities of the parties involved in the crash have been released at this time.

The study also found that seat belt use substantially reduced the risk of a partial and complete ejections.
