Tragic, Fatal Head-on Collision on I-285 in Dunwoody, Georgia

DUNWOODY, GEORGIA - According to an online news article published on fox5atlanta.com, accident investigators from the Dunwoody Police Department are investigating a fatal head-on collision that occurred on I-285 East at North Peachtree Road.* 

The report states that at approximately 2:14 AM, Dunwoody Police officers discovered a black Jeep Cherokee and Honda minivan had collided head-on on I-285. Both of the motor vehicles sustained substantial damage in the wreck.

The Dunwoody Police Department's initial crash investigation disclosed that a Jeep was heading down I-285 and in the wrong direction. The accident investigators stated that the crash was a head-on collision. The Jeep's driver sustained severe accident-related injuries and was transported to a local area hospital. The 59-year-old driver of the Honda minivan tragically passed away at the scene of the crash.
